Communication

Counsellors will call parents of all campers in Grades 2-5 and parents of all new campers during the first week of camp. The Community Director and Camp Director are available by email or phone.

We enthusiastically encourage you to communicate with your child in the old fashioned way – through snail mail! Mail takes on great importance at camp and we hope you will write to your child as much as possible. Some parents start sending letters before their child has even left for camp to ensure that they receive mail early in the session. You can also give mail to the check-in table on the first day of camp to be distributed anytime during your child’s time at camp. If you opt to do this, please put the date you would like your child to receive the letter discretely somewhere on the envelope. Unfortunately, we cannot accept any emails and faxes for campers.

Please be mindful that sometimes mail can take a while to arrive at camp. If you’re sending mail near the middle or end of the session your child is attending, it’s best to check Canada Post’s shipping delivery standards before sending any letters or parcels to ensure ample delivery time. For any mail that arrives after your child has already left camp, we will do our best to reach out and notify either the recipient or the sender.

Likewise, we also encourage campers to write home! Please give your child stamped and addressed envelopes. US-bound mail will be stamped by camp.

Please make sure to include on all your mail the Camper’s Full Name and Age Group (Kvutzah or Grade completed).
