Habonim Dror North America
- To build a personal bond and commitment between North American Jewish youth and the State of Israel
- To create Jewish leaders who will actualize the principles of social justice, equality, peace and coexistence in Israel and North America
Youth from Habonim Dror North America run educational programs at six machanot (camps) in the U.S. and Canada based on the five pillars: Progressive Labor Zionism, Cultural Judaism, Social Justice, Socialism, and Hagshama (actualization of values).
Our sister camps in North America are Camp Galil, Camp Gesher, Camp Gilboa, Camp Moshava (Mosh), and Camp Tavor.
Habonim Dror is also a worldwide movement, with camps and youth groups in more than 20 countries.
Habonim Dror runs a gap year, learning and social service program in Israel – Workshop, and summer programs in Israel or North America youth who have completed Grade 10 – MBI – Macheneh Bonim b’Israel and Kadima.
