Packing List
This packing list is for 3 weeks (adjust if your child’s session is less than 3 weeks).
Please remember to label everything with your child’s first and last name.
For your convenience, here is a print friendly version of the Packing List.
Laundry is done every 10 days, but takes time to come back from the laundromat. Please pack 14 days worth of clothing. No laundry for campers coming for 5-14 days.
Bedding
- 2 pairs of sheets (4 in total)
- 2 pillowcases
- 1 pillow
- 1 warm blanket – essential
- 1 sleeping bag (preferably water resistant for overnight camping trips)
Toiletry Items
- 3 bath or beach towels
- 2 face towels
- toothbrush and toothpaste
- soap (& case), shampoo, conditioner
- comb and brush
- sunscreen
- mosquito repellent
- kleenex
- medications & supplements (only multi-dose packs, blister packaged by a pharmacy)
Clothing
- 14 pairs of underwear
- 14 pairs of socks (2 heavy/wool)
- 5 pairs of shorts
- 10 t-shirts (2 dri-fit for sport/hiking)
- 4 sweatshirts
- 3-4 pairs of long pants
- 2 bathing suits
- 2 pairs of pajamas
- sun hat (essential)
- water bottle (essential)
- warm jacket
- raincoat or poncho
- casual-dress clothing for Shabbat
Footwear
Closed toe & closed heel (or back strap) footwear is required on camp property, except for the pool and showers.
- 2 pairs of runners – one that is good for hiking (those completing Gr. 7 & up need hiking shoes with ankle support)
- flip flops/sandals/crocs – for shower and pool use only
- optional: rubber closed footwear for water activities
Miscellaneous Items
- Kupa money – we recommend $5.00 per week at camp
- flashlight and extra batteries
- laundry bag
- stationary, envelopes and stamps (USA mail will be stamped by camp)
- daypack
- hiking backpack (Gr. 7 and up needed for an overnight hike)
Optional Items
- reading materials
- camera (single-use or inexpensive!)
- non-electronic games
- musical instruments
- fun/crazy clothes for Rikud (Friday night Israeli dancing)
- plain white t-shirt (for spray paint/tie dye)
We do not allow campers to have mobile phones or other WiFi-enabled devices (such as Kindle, Nooks, iPod Touch, iPad, laptops, notebooks, tablets, Nintendo DS, PSP Go, any handheld electronic games, etc.). If these are brought to camp, they will be confiscated and returned when the camper leaves at the end of the session.
